The Big Studio Movie Licence has been in operation since 2009 providing a comprehensive copyright compliance solution for a range of organisations. Since that time we’ve assisted over 10,000 facilities with our blanket movie licence, providing blanket movie compliance coverage from the Hollywood Studios. Our purpose is twofold:

The only licence you need
The Big Studio Movie Licence (BSML) provides Land Lease / Over 50’s Lifestyle / Retirement Communities / Residential Aged Care and Day Centre Facilities, Churches and Religious Institutions the legal coverage to show films from Hollywood's biggest studios, all covered under one single blanket licence.
The BSML has been operating in Australia and New Zealand since 2009 and has been chosen over 10,000 times by local organisations to ensure they are doing the right thing with regards to copyright compliance.
Copyright regulation for film is pretty straight forward. If you intend to screen a movie (or parts of a movie) outside of your home, you require approval and a licence from the Producer of the film in order to adhere to copyright law. Land Lease / Over 50’s Lifestyle / Retirement Communities / Residential Aged Care and Day Centre Facilities, Churches and Religious Institutions - are all venues that must carry an appropriate movie licence in order to screen movies to your community.
